Q. I cannot complete my initial registration. An error message such as “Contains invalid characters” or “Incorrect format” is displayed when I enter the email address for registration

· If “Contains invalid characters” is displayed, it may be due to any of the following reasons.

(Main causes of error messages)

• Contains invalid characters
  

  Valid characters:	Half-width alphanumeric characters
  Valid symbols:	!#$%&'*+/=?`{|}~^-.

  （E.g）

  • Email address starts with a “(”
    （yubin@pf.japanpost.jp
  • Two or more “@” are used
    yuid-yubin@@pf.japanpost.jp

   

· If “Incorrect format” is displayed, it may be due to any of the following reasons.

• More than 100 characters are used
• Line ends with “.” or a space
  yuid-yubin@pf.japanpost.jp.
• Text missing before the at sign “@”
   @pf.japanpost.jp
• An email address that starts with a dot “.”
  .yuid-yubin@pf.japanpost.jp
• A dot “.” is used before the at sign “@”
  yuid-yubin.@pf.japanpost.jp
• A sequence of dots “.” is used before the at sign “@”
