If you are logging in to the same OS, Google account, or Apple ID
Your passkey will be transferred to your new terminal when you log in with the account that already has a passkey set up. No special operation is required.If the passkey transfer fails when you changed to a new terminal, then you will have to set up the passkey again.
- If you got a new terminal with different OS
You may not be able to transfer the passkey if you get a new terminal with a different OS (not only in case of smartphones, but also for PCs). You will have to register your passkey again on the new terminal in such case.
- If you used Windows Hello to set up
Since each terminal is set up individually, you will have to set up again when you change your device (get a new terminal).
