There are no differences in the information to be provided or the time it takes to start the forwarding service, but there are the following differences in the identity verification required for the request, depending on which method of request you chose.
(Japan Post Official App (JPN ver only))
You can smoothly perform all procedures necessary for the e-Tenkyo including the identity verification using the Japan Post Official App.
(Smartphone browser)
You can make the request and perform the identity verification on your smartphone, but the Japan Post Official App is necessary if you are using “Scan Individual Number Card” for the identity verification.
(PC browser)
You can make the request on your PC browser, but the identity verification shall be performed on your smartphone.
Note that the Japan Post Official App is necessary if you are using “Scan Individual Number Card” for the identity verification.
* If you cannot use the Japan Post Official App, then use your smartphone or PC browser to make your request, and then perform the identity verification using an “identity verification document with your photo.”
