Q. I will be registering to the Yu ID for the e-Tenkyo procedure. For the address, which should I register, the current address (old address) or the address of the new place (new address)?

For the e-Tenkyo procedure, the identity verification will be performed online. Please register the addresses inscribed in the Individual Number Card, driver’s license, driving record certificate, or residence card, to be used for verification.

You can select from the following two types of identity verification methods.

1. Method using Scan Individual Number Card
   You can use the Individual Number Card by using the Scan Individual Number Card function of the Japan Post Official App (JPN ver only).
   
   
2. Method using identity verification document with photo
   You can use one of the following identity verification documents, and confirm on your smartphone. [Individual Number Card, driver’s license, driving record certificate, residence card]
